Petals of a flower
Slowly (time lapse pace)
Opening
Peeling away
To reveal more petals beneath
All slowly unraveling
Each one a distinct color and shape
And each one as it falls
slowly fading away
My life
Yours and the life of everyone arounds us
are those flowers
Are lives reveal something new nearly every second of the day
And no part of our lives last forever
Memories are all we have of yesterday
Photos fade
And memories become legend
But we are all a field of flowers
Slowly moving from this life
to the next
